Since I forgot to mention this on my page and I couldn’t edit my reply for some reason...

FLORIDA!!! That’s definitely something to look forward to! I’ve never been, either... but I hear it is marvelous ^_^ Whereabouts are you and your mom heading? And I must say I’m officially envious--I would trade a few chilly Indiana days for sunny Florida beaches without too terribly much prodding 12

1 Joelle Duran replies: "We’re going to Orlando, where two of my mom’s sisters live. Myself, I’m a winter lover and summer makes me sick, so I should be able to handle Florida in February better than in April after spring break season is past. I’m looking forward to actually getting to visit SeaWorld (where one of my aunts works) after hearing so much about it over the years! There’s a ton of stuff to do over there, and we’ll only scratch the surface in a week’s time. Don’t know about the beach, though--Orlando isn’t terribly close to the sea, but I’m not a (sandy) beach lover anyway."

Can’t access the extranet for some reason, so I guess I’ll just reply here! Mango sure is getting big (relatively, of course--she’s still only about 9 pounds)... she’s just turning six months old and starting to get her long hair, too 2 She’s a cutie! Thanks for asking 2

How is life in your neck of the woods? I haven’t been able to visit/read anything beyond school for ages... what have you been up to?

:-) Joelle Duran replies: "That sounds delightful! I get a kick out of the ’inbetween’ stage between cute puppyhood and beautiful maturity.

Writing and editing are what I’ve been mostly up to, though now with the summer heat coming, I’ll soon be done writing until autumn. I hope you’ve survived the semester/quarter! Are you done soon? Any fun plans for the summer?"

I should have asked in that last message... Do you have a myspace or facebook? I have lots of pictures of her (and her mama and one brother) posted on those accounts, if you’re interested. Or I could email you an updated pic, if you want to see the little one. I always love showing her off 2

Here I am! Elfwood wouldn’t let me post comments yesterday, for whatever reason *pouts*

Anywho, how are you today? I hope the summer is being kind to my poor heat-hating friend ^_^ I think my little Mango feels your pain... this is her first summer, and she doesn’t know what to make of being overheated! She just sprawls out on the floor and looks hot and uncomfortable after her walks, poor baby...

So! I’m wanting to read some more of your lovely work... anything you’ve been wanting feedback on? I miss my (okay, your) avarii and hyarmi! (hope I spelled those right!)
